About T Vallance

T Vallance - Devon Agricultural ContractorsT. Vallance & Son have been operating from Liverton in South Devon providing Agricultural Contracting services since 1960.  The business was originally formed by Sam Vallance's Grandfather and Father and was taken over by Sam in 1987.  It is still very much a family owned and run business with Sam's wife Jackie, Daughter Judi and Son Ryan all working in the buisness providing Plant Hire, Recycling & Haulage services across Devon.

Late 2006 saw the existing sales side of T.Vallance & Son evolve into a new trading division when 'TVS Tractor Sales' was born.  This saw rapid progress of quality used tractors, combines, self propelled foragers, balers, spreaders, sprayers etc. finding their way to most corners of the UK, Ireland, Europe, Canada and beyond.

Our success drew attention from many leading manufacturers and quickly established us as main dealers for 'SAMSON' spreaders, tankers and injection equipment; 'N.C. ENGINEERING' trailers, tankers, slurry pumps and brushes; 'TECNOMA' crop sprayers; 'CHILLTON' loaders and attachments; 'ALBUTT' attachments; 'ARCTIC CAT' petrol & diesel ATVs; 'BOMFORD' vegetation control machinery, hedge trimmers, toppers etc.

New tractor sales were held at arms length.  The investment was one thing, finding the right product from the right manufacturer who could offer high product support with a large viable sales territory was another.  To this end October 2008 saw us pleased to announce our appointment with The AGCO Group as main VALTRA tractor dealers covering an area from the South Devon coastline to the Bristol channel.

TVS's main depot is conveniently located beside the A38 opposite Trago Mills and from there they are able to operate all haulage, agricultural, plant and waste operations as well as 'TVS Tractor Sales'.  December 2008 saw the opening of our NEW WELLINGTON SALES DEPOT at Chelston Business Park about 1 minute from Junction 26 off the M5.  Please see our Sales Page for contact details and more information.

We are one of the largest agricultural businesses in our area. Our workforce is now over 30 strong which includes operators, drivers, office staff, sales reps, after sales staff and Service technicians.

 We are proud of our achievements and expansion of the business. Much of this is down to a good team of staff,  operators, hard work and offering a good service by utilising the most up to date machinery and facilities.

2009 saw the launch of a new partnership venture between T. Vallance & Son LLP and B&B Contractors Ltd and the formation of 'ProRecycle Ltd'.  ProRecycle offers waste recycling management solutions and specialise in recycling liquid and solid wastes and byproducts to land across the South West of England - 'ProRecycle Ltd'

We can now offer 'SELF STORAGE' at very competitive prices whether it be some 'storage' space in one of our shipping containers, boat storage, caravan storage or just some self storage for the contents of your garden shed.
