From the 15th May 2006 it is illegal to bury, dump or burn farm waste and to store it for more than 12 months. It is essential to have proof of compliance with these regulations and failure to comply may jeopardise your single payment claim scheme. The environment agency states that land fill charges are set to triple in the next two years.

We work with the national farm waste specialists Farm XS Ltd, to collect farm plastic waste in the South West for the recycling market. The types of waste collected are;

  • Silage Wrap
  • Silage Clamp Sheeting
  • Spray Containers
  • String
  • Netwrap
  • Feed Buckets
  • Fertilizer and Feed Bags
  • Cardboard Packaging
As part of the scheme you are provided with appropriate documentation to comply with the regulations and 1 tonne dumpy bags for each type of waste plastic, each with a capacity to store approximately 250 plus silage wraps. We will then collect the bags from your holding.
